Music Festival

One of life’s real pleasures is the enjoyment of live music and the South Glos Show we always have some of the best local bands performing during the weekend on the Bandstand and Kelly Bros Music Stage.

This year had the exciting addition in our Music Festival field of the Model Air Balloons UK bringing their model air balloons.

Saturday 5th August

The Kelly Bros Main Stage

    Pop/Folk group Twinners consists of identical twins Sophie and Chloe who are based in Bristol. They take inspiration from Amy Winehouse and Paloma Faith.

  • 13:00 Richard Friend

    Richard Friend

    On stage at 13:00

    Richard is a local singer/songwriter who performs original material and covers from the 60s to present day. He originally learnt guitar at the age of 13 out of spite and stuck with it anyway. Richard has played at gigs far and wide, but says there’s nothing like a home crowd!

  • 14:00 Delicate Holly

    Delicate Holly is an Indie, Rock band consisting of 4 members – Reuben Lovett (Bass and Lead Vocals), Alec Hopkins (Guitar and Backing Vocals), Dougie Stokes (Guitar and Backing Vocals) and Toby Jones (Drums). The band were sown back in school when they started to ‘jam’ together when they then went on to establish themselves in their local scene through concrete gigging and a string of engaging performances.

    High Sierra are a Bristol band playing an eclectic mix of covers from modern chart toppers to old school classics.

    Chris Hendy is a Bristol-based musician who performs around the UK as ‘Forever Diamond’, singing hits of his all time favourite artist, Neil Diamond.

  • 18:00 3 Day Week

    Three Day Week are a 1970’s band based in Bristol, all of their performances are a tribute to the 1970s – they are entertaining and the focus is always on fun.

  • 19:00 Tristan Exon

    Singer Songwriter from Bristol sharing his blend of Acoustic Pop and Blues to create catchy feel good melodies that listeners will find hard to forget.

    A lively, compact performance band that provides music and entertainment for the whole community. Band members are: Chris Harris – Musical Director, Katherine Grice – Flute, Louise Britton – Clarinet, Lydia Dunford – Clarinet, Percy Mann – Clarinet, Caroline Wingrove – Clarinet, Clare Lennon – Alto Sax, Kevan Attridge – Alto Sax, Maddy Perry – Ten. Sax, Linda Harris – Ten. Sax, Keith Williams – Trumpet, David Wright – Trombone, Tim Holiday – Horn, Alex Denman – Vocalist and Steve Black – Bass.

    Limited Edition are the South West’s premium covers band. They specialise in creating memorable live music for weddings, parties, corporate events and more.

    Get your cowboy boots to the ready as we get taken into a world of Country music! Describing themselves as retro but incredibly up to date, having headlined many gigs around the region, The Barry Walsh Band perform Country music!     In October 2011 The Coyote Kings were formed by four guys from Bristol and the surrounding areas. With many years experience of  playing live between them, they very quickly put together an incredible array of cover music which spans 5 decades.
