This year’s Show welcomes new and returning performers to the Music Festival of SGS17.
Dance on down to the Showground
With SGS17 shaping up to be the biggest Show yet, we are looking forward to seeing some of last year’s favourite performers as well as welcoming new acts to provide our guests with something a little different.
Every year we fill our Music Festival with the sounds of bands from the South West and beyond, this year is no different!
All seen at SGS16 Limited Edition, The Barry Walsh Band, Shot by Both Sides, Forever Diamond, Tristan Exon, Twinners and Delicate Holly are all back this year to get our guests tapping their toes. Joining them this year are Richard Friend, High Sierra, 3 Day Week, Sazzey, The Medicine Show, Angel Heart, The Coyote Kings, Exiled and Figment.
Last year’s successful Bandstand returns with even more musical talent. This year will see the Bath Ales Bandstand where Oldland Brass, also seen at SGS16, and new guests the Westerly Showband will be performing across the weekend of the Show.
There is music for everyone at SGS17. With such a variety of performers this year, they will be providing guests with music from all eras and of all genres keeping everyone dancing across the weekend.

Up, Up and AWAY!
New Exhibitor, Exclusive Ballooning will be with us this year alongside Model Balloons UK at the top of this year’s music field.
We are excited to announce that Exclusive Ballooning will be bringing, Simbaloo, Longleats lion balloon to SGS17. This giant lion balloon may well be setting off into the sky from our Main Arena from 5pm onwards on both days of the Show, however, please be aware this is weather permitting.
