Wee!

New for SGS19… Dog Village!

At this year’s South Gloucestershire Show, we are super excited to welcome our very first Dog Village!

We have teamed up with the Friends of South Glos Strays who will be providing a variety of workshops and activities suitable for dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds, giving you the opportunity to bring along your furry friends.

The Friends of South Glos Strays have formed a network of volunteers who take part in several activities in order to help the stray dogs of South Gloucestershire. They are dedicated when looking after their residents, and ensure to take the dogs out for their routine walk almost every day. Other members also provide lots of chew toys and doggy treats for them to enjoy.

On Saturday 3rd August, visitors have the opportunity to enter their buddies into a number of classes and activities which will be run by professional dog trainers.

Activities included are the new Hooper’s agility run which will be directed by the talented Michelle Cleary and Cleary Canines. Scent workshops will also take place which will be lead by the amazing Leisl de la Fontaine from Scent Work South West.

DOGSHOW SPONSOR!

A massive thank you to Bristol Canine Hydrotherapy Centre who are sponsoring the rosettes for the dog show. Now our furry friends can really stand out! And of course it wouldn’t be fair to let our pups leave with empty paws! So a big thanks to Natural Treats Bristol who are providing The South Glos Show Dog Show with prize doggy bags for entries to 5th place!

There will be something for every dog at this years South Gloucestershire Show, so make sure to join us on Saturday 3rd August to experience the fuzzy fun at our very first Dog Village!
